Gallery Portal 11 presents an art album “Music of Colour”. This art book is part of a project by artist Hanna Zabudska, who created a series of tapestries based on the paintings of renowned Ukrainian artist Ivan Turetskyy. The unique collection of tapestries published in this album is the first example of the synthesis of cubo-futurist painting and weaving interpretation.
We express special thanks to the people who contributed to the creation of this book: the artists Hanna Zabudska and Ivan Turetskyy, the designer of this album Oksana Zdor, the author of the scientific article Claire O’Mahony, the translator of the article Oksana Yurchyshyn-Smith, and the editors Igor Globa, Natalia Globa, Maria Sivachenko, Anastasiia Yatsyna.
The book is published of a worldwide edition of two hundred. The first 10 copies of the book contain original work by Hanna Zabudska.
