Until now, gravity remains one of the most mysterious forces in the Universe. It is simultaneously the weakest and the most exquisite force, leaving us with more questions than answers. We do not know how to control gravity or why it arises. Like love, it weakens with distance. In its absence, human muscles atrophy, spiders weave spherical webs, and carbonated drinks become dangerously explosive.
From the very inception of art, abstract images have been present. Similarly, from the birth of the Universe, gravity has been a fundamental presence. Abstraction, like the cosmic force, delves into the essence of objects, moving from phenomena to reality, creating generalized images—a pivotal moment in understanding.
The language of gravity speaks of inexorable natural forces, an earthly magic hidden within every movement and moment of our existence. ‘Gravity’—an attempt to immerse ourselves in the mysterious realm of this force and reveal its abstract nature through art.
