Gallery Portal 11 presents a personal exhibition by Ivan Turetskyy “From the Italian Diary” at the Palazzo Branda Castiglioni a Castiglioni Olona Museum 03.09.2021 – 26.09.2021

Gallery Portal 11 is pleased to present you our museum project in Italy – a personal exhibition of paintings by Ivan Turetskyy “From the Italian Diary” at the Palazzo Branda Castiglioni a Castiglioni Olona Museum, Varese Province (Lake Como region). The exhibition will take place from September 3 to 26, 2021.

For the first time, abstract paintings by Ivan Turetskyy will be presented in the fresco hall of the 15th century former residence of Cardinal Brand Castiglioni, creating a fascinating and bold dialogue between the past and the present. The exhibition presents 15 new works by the artist, created during 2020-2021. The project is organized by the Portal 11 Gallery with the Artemilo 1941 Association and the ambassador of art Oksana Filonenko.

Ivan Turetskyy is a famous artist with a rare gift of hearing the music and experiencing emotions through colours. His works are exhibited in Singapore, London, Kyiv Art galleries and were displayed on Luxemburg Art Fair 2019. Turetskyy’s paintings are part of numerous collections of Ukrainian museums and private collections in Europe, Asia and the USA. The painting “Fragments II (Italian Diary)” was sold at Sotheby’s auction in New York on June 23, 2020 for $ 21,250. Among works by Paul Cézanne, Pablo Picasso, Henre Lotte and Robert Marc at the Cubism and Beyond auction. The painting was previously purchased in gallery Portal 11 (Kyiv, Ukraine), which is the artist’s curator.
