“Sci-Fi Art” group exhibition

Gallery Portal 11 presents “Sci-Fi Art” group exhibition. 19.10.2024-24.11.2024.

Sci-fi Art, or science fiction art, is a genre closely related to literature and cinema that visualizes scientific or fantastical concepts, ideas, and imaginations. Sci-fi Art is often used to visually express future technologies, space travel, interstellar battles, alien worlds, as well as science fiction stories and concepts.
This genre takes various forms: painting, computer graphics, sculpture, comics, animation, etc. Artists often create imaginary worlds for well-known science fiction works. Sci-fi Art is a source of inspiration for many creators and fans of science fiction and, in many ways, looks into the future.
The Portal 11 gallery has invited contemporary Ukrainian artists to showcase their own visions of technological development and to feature artists of this genre in our space. The selected three-dimensional and two-dimensional works immerse the viewer in the possible future of humanity, so look closely and familiarize yourself with their concepts. Some of the proposed ideas are starting to come true.
