“Denude the Truth” is a sculpture exhibition by Oleksii Vladimirov dedicated to artist`s reflection of the female image.
Oleksii Vladimirov interprets the categories of eternal and beautiful. Motives of eternal love are embodied in the sculpture “Kiss”. The constant desire for the ideal is embodied in the sculpture “Dream”. In it, the graceful female torso bends so that seems like she creates a portal to the unreal world. The artist visualizes the constant search for wisdom by man with the help of ancient Egyptian sacred motifs, creating a sculptural image of the Goddess who leaves her lover.
In each sculptural composition, the artist exposes a true legend, which is revealed to the viewer while contemplating the body. A body that is never silent. Behind its visible harmony and beauty is always the history of man and his eternal search for truth, which is often painful. But despite this the body begins to seem even more beautiful.
Oleksii Vladimirov is a Ukrainian artist born in the Kuban. He graduated in 1984 Kyiv State Art Institute. Since 1987 – a member of the NSHU. The sculptor’s works are presented in leading galleries and museums of Ukraine. In addition, the master’s works are in private collections in Sweden, Austria, England, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Italy and the United States. In his work, Oleksii Vladimirov continues the exquisite traditions of sculpture formed over the centuries and brings them to a new level in contemporary art.
